ON THIS DAY

19 October 2013

Moments from the Hatters' history on 19th October

It was seven past Shilton on this day in 1985 as the Hatters crushed Southampton in the top flight at Kenilworth Road.

A hat-trick from Brian Stein led the way and he was joined by Emeka Nwaijobi, Ricky Hull, David Preece and Ray Daniel in putting goals past England goalkeeper Peter.

The Town put six past Forest Green Rovers on this day three years ago. Danny Crow scored twice and Andy Drury, Amari Morgan-Smith, Matthew Barnes-Homer and Jason Walker were all on target.
