Important notice for Hatters fans ahead of Welling game
The Hatters are looking for supporters to help blow away cobwebs and tumbleweed off of the Kenilworth Road pitch to enable Saturday’s game with Welling to go ahead without a hitch.
The game is absolutely not in doubt - with the pitch in a superb and playable condition thanks to meticulous hard work from the Town’s groundsmen - but groundstaff need help to clear the build-up of tumbleweed and cobwebs that have accumulated around the stadium following the Town’s lack of a first team home fixture over the past month.
Supporters are encouraged to report to Kenilworth Road before 3pm on Saturday and are urged to bring their singing voices for the Wings’ visit.
