Last-gasp goal gives Hatters youngsters all three points

A last-gasp goal from Arel Amu secured the Hatters' Under-18s a 2-1 win at Northampton on Saturday morning.

After a goalless first half an angled drive from striker Jemale McKenzie-Lowe put the Town ahead on 70 minutes.

Northampton levelled following a free-kick with five minutes left but Amu popped up to secure the Hatters a sixth win in seven Youth Alliance fixtures.

The Town youngsters are in Youth Cup action next when they travel to Boston United on Wednesday night.

TOWN: Barnes; Trotman, Hawkes, Tamplin, Chabata; Amu, Smith, Rees, Galliford; Banton, McKenzie-Lowe.

Subs not used: Barnes, Perry, Ngwala, Tayali, Allman.
