Manager hails defender's performance
Hatters boss John Still praised goalscoring centre-half Steve McNulty after the defender’s sumptuous volley against Southport.
The 30-year-old’s goal scorcher put the Town on their way to a 3-0 win over the Sandgrounders but it was McNulty’s overall play that impressed the manager.
“He sets an example for the rest of the team,” said Still. “His application, commitment and understand of the job playing with a young lad next to him is fantastic.”
