Stopper released and set to join Inverness

Luton Town have cancelled the contract of goalkeeper Dean Brill by mutual contest.

The 27-year-old stopper has been on-loan at Scottish Premiership club Inverness Caledonian Thistle this season and has kept seven clean sheets in 14 matches for Highlanders.

Brill, who came through the Hatters’ academy, made his debut for the club as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat at Oldham in September 2003.

He left Kenilworth Road in 2009 having won the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, but after spells with Oldham and Barnet, he returned to Kenilworth Road at the start of last season.

In total Brill made 109 appearances for the Hatters and is due to pen a permanent contract with the Inverness.
