Neilson on Skelmersdale selection

Assistant manager Alan Neilson believes the Town will not make wholesale changes for Saturday's FA Trophy third round tie at home to Skelmersdale United.

The Hatters take on a Skelmersdale side who are unbeaten in 17 league fixtures this season and lost once in the whole of 2012 with no fresh injury concerns.

Winger James Dance is fit after recovering from an ankle knock but JJ O'Donnell remains sidelined with a broken nose suffered in the FA Cup victory over Wolves.

Scott Neilson and Greg Taylor are the only definite absentees following Tuesday's 6-1 win over Barrow as both are cup-tied.

Neilson, stepping in at Thursday press call with boss Paul Buckle ill, knows the Town will face tough test against a team three league below them in the league ladder.

"Any team who haven't lost will be high on confidence," he said. "We know how well they're doing, they've won all seven of their away league games this season.

"We had them scouted and read reports on them and they will be confident coming to Kenilworth Road but, like what the manager always says, it's not about them, it's about us.

"We'll be concentrating on getting through to the next round and continuing our good form."
