Club hopeful of getting a game on but help still needed
The Hatters are confident that Tuesday's game with Lincoln City will go ahead after volunteers helped begin clearing he Kenilworth Road pitch of snow on Monday morning.
The exercise of removing five inches worth of snow off of the covers protecting the surface began at 10am, and the club are urging supporters to come and help get the job done in time for Tuesday's meeting with the Imps.
A pitch inspection will be held on Tuesday morning, carried out by qualified referee, as well as a health and safety check carried out by the Town's safety officer. It is hoped that a decision whether the game will go ahead or not will be reached as early as possible on Tuesday.
