Boss on Pelly, Kiddy and Smith

Manager of the month for December John Still has no new injury worries for the New Year's Day clash with Barnet at Kenilworth Road.

The Town boss, who missed Saturday's victory through illness, spoke of his delight at watching the 6-0 win over Kidderminster on DVD but also revealed that midfielder Pelly Ruddock has returned to parent club West Ham.

"I can understand West Ham's situation - they don't have any centre-halves," said Still at his Monday press conference.

The manager, however, confirmed they will look into Ruddock's availability in the New Year, and didn't rule out loaning of a another player of similar ilk in the January transfer window.

Other than Ruddock's omission from the squad the Hatters squad will be as it was for the game against the Bees who they beat 2-1 at the Hive on Boxing Day.

Still also explained that midfielder Jonathan Smith, who broke his leg in two places at Barnet, has now left Harrow Hospital and his now recovering at home in Preston.
