John Still was happy for his young group of players after the Hatters were paired with league leaders Cambridge United in Monday's FA Trophy third round draw.
The manager has confirmed a young side will play throughout the Town's involvement in the competition and after beating holders Wrexham on Saturday, Still was delighted with the draw.
"The boys that got us through the last two rounds deserve a big game, and this is a big game," Still told lutontown.co.uk.
"It's a tie I would have picked. It will be game that won't just be a test football-wise but also a test mentality-wise for this group of players."
