Young Hatters see off Daggers
The Hatters' Under-18s got their Youth Alliance campaign off to a winning start thanks to a 4-2 win over Dagenham & Redbridge.A Charlie Smith penalty put the Town ahead on 15 minutes before striker Jemale McKenzie-Lowe doubled the advantage five minutes later.
Dagenham pulled one goal back before the break but two goals in another five-minute burst early in the second half from McKenzier-Lowe and Smith put the Hatters in charge.
And despite the Daggers pulling another goal back the Hatters held on to secure the points.
