Team news for Saturday's season opener
Reigning player of the year Alex Lawless has returned to full training ahead of Saturday's opening Skrill Premier fixture of the season at Southport.The 28-year-old has yet to feature for the Hatters this pre-season having recovered from a hernia operation before injuring his knee in the warm-up at Maidenhead.
Town boss John Still, who admitted he knows his starting XI - barring any injuries - for the weekend, has no fresh injury worries for the trip to Haig Avenue.
"We've got bumps and bruises," he said at his first pre-match press conference of the season. Striker Alex Wall, who suffered an injury at Thurrock on Monday night, may miss out, however.
