Midfielder back in contention

Town boss John Still could have midfielder Alex Lawless back for Tuesday night's game with Lincoln City at Kenilworth Road.

The 28-year-old has been missing from the Hatters side since being substituted in the 2-1 defeat against Hyde last month with a hamstring injury.

Lawless travelled to Carlisle on Saturday but had been suffering from illness.

Meanwhile captain Ronnie Henry could be set for a return to the starting XI on Tuesday. The skipper was due to have an operation on a hernia injury on Thursday but could be thrown in against the Imps. Still admitted that he would like to see Simon Ainge in central defence and his selection conundrum wasn't helped by youth team right-back Brett Longden picking up a hamstring injury in training on Monday.

The Hatters will continue without Mark Tyler and Jake Howells, both of whom missed the defeat at Gateshead at the weekend.
