Club and local enterprise offer free tickets to school children

The Hatters are giving over 1,000 primary school children the chance to watch the final home match of the season next Thursday, 18th April, against Ebbsfleet United.

In partnership with local social enterprise Unleashing Potential, the offer is aimed at rewarding the town's most improved learners in a reward scheme with local primary schools.

Free tickets are available for participating schools, with teachers encouraged to put forward their pupils who have demonstrated the biggest improvements in literacy.

Each school is entitled to 10 pairs of tickets, with an adult - a parent or a guardian - required to accompany the child.

To take up the offer, schools must send an email to ticketoffice@lutontown.co.uk, using the code LBCSCH.

Luton Town club director David Blakeman said: “The football club recognises the value of learning and achievement, and our involvement with this scheme in part reflects our commitment to the development of young people.

“Unleashing Potential’s core values align with our own, and we are pleased to be part of this inspiring initiative.”

Unleashing Potential trustee Amar Azam said: “At Unleashing Potential, we believe learning and education is the key to developing communities.

“The football club play an important role in the town, and we are pleased to work with them on this initiative that rewards youngsters in this way.”
