The Town are favourites to bounce back at the Lamb
They might be without a win in three games but league sponsors Blue Square believe the Town will bounce back to form at Tamworth tonight.
Paul Buckle’s side are as short as 8/11 to earn their fourth away victory of the season and with it banish bad memories of their last two fixtures on the road that has seen them ship seven goals.
Tamworth have won their last two games, including a 1-0 win over Lincoln on Saturday, and Marcus Law’s side are 16/5 to heap more away blues on the Hatters this evening. The draw is a 5/2 chance.
The Town have only mustered one goal in their last three games but can take heart from a goalless draw against promotion rivals Wrexham and, with Buckle stressing the importance of a clean sheet, it’s 3/1 that either none or one goal will be scored in the match.
It’s 11/10 for under 2.5 goals whilst a 1-0 Town victory can be backed at 13/2. The Town to win by a one-goal margin at 11/4 is another interesting price chalked up by the boys at Blue Square.
