Town favourites for three points
Favourite backers were rewarded on Saturday when Paul Buckle’s side beat Macclesfield 4-1 at Kenilworth Road - and the Town are once more the favourites on Tuesday night when Cambridge United are the visitors.
After the weekend win the Hatters are 8/13 to record a second successive victory with league sponsors Blue Square.
Cambridge, who won 1-0 at Kenilworth Road last term, are 7/2 to win all three points whilst the draw can be backed at 11/4.
The U’s victory a year ago was their first ever in league competition at Kenilworth Road and it’s 11/1 that Jez George’s side win by the same scoreline this evening.
If you fancy the Town to win 4-1 for the second game running it’s 22/1, but it’s likely to be a tighter affair under the floodlights tonight. That’s not to say there won’t be goals and a 3-2 win can be backed at 25/1.

If Buckle sides with another three centre halves it might be worth a few pennies on one of Janos Kovacs, Dean Beckwith or Lathaniel Rowe-Turner at the bigger prices of 18/1, 25/1 and 40/1 respectively.
