One striker back, one striker suspended

The Town could have striker Scott Rendell back from injury for Saturday's game with Nuneaton Town.

The 25-year-old missed Tuesday night's 3-2 defeat to Braintree with a dead leg which he picked up in the 2-1 win at Lincoln last weekend.

Paul Buckle said: "Scott trained today [Thursday]. Today was the big test for him and he's come through it okay. It's still a bit sore and we'll have a look at him again on Friday before picking the team for Saturday."

Rendell could replace fellow forward Stuart Fleetwood who misses the game through suspension having been red carded on Tuesday night.

Buckle has plenty of options despite Fleetwood's absence with Dan Walker staking a claim for a starting berth after his cameo against Braintree.

Full report and video from the manager's press conference to follow.
