Town to be backed in numbers at Forest Green
The Hatters will be backed by almost 1,000 supporters at Saturday’s clash with promotion rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Demand for tickets from Town fans for the all-ticket affair with Rovers has been steady all week as the Paul Buckle's side head to Gloucestershire having won six of their eight games on the road so far this season.
Tickets went off sale at 2pm on Friday with a 987 sold from the Luton Town ticket office.
Manager Paul Buckle told lutontown.co.uk: “Our support never ceases to amaze me. The supporters are absolutely incredible. The backing, especially away from home, is something else.
“It’s going to be a great atmosphere for an important game that we’re looking forward to.”
The Hatters contingent could quite easily outnumber the home support at the New Lawn. Rovers have averaged 1,021 for their eight home fixtures in league and cup so far this season.
Everyone at Kenilworth Road would like to wish all the supporters travelling a safe trip there and back to the game.
