Waterlogged pitch rains off Trophy tie
The Town's FA Trophy first round tie at Dorchester Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.After the pitch had passed an earlier inspection, the game was called off at just after midday by the referee.
The two teams will try again this coming Tuesday, 27th, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Boss Paul Buckle said: "It's disappointing but we are not in control of the weather. We wanted the game to be played but if the conditions are that bad then nobody wants to risk it."
It will mean both clubs will find out the second round opposition as the draw takes place on Monday.
