Town boss Paul Buckle is expecting another tough game for his side when second-placed Macclesfield Town visit on Saturday. The Silkmen have adjusted well to life in the Blue Square Bet Premier following relegation last season - winning their last four matches.
"Like us they are desperate to return to the Football League," Buckle said. "They have started the season well."
The manager will be without the services of suspended Ronnie Henry and Jon Shaw for the Silkmen's visit whilst Danny Spiller, James Dance, Janos Kovacs and Garry Richards all remain sidelined.
Buckle is also expecting a quiet transfer deadline day.
"There’ll be nothing happening, it doesn’t mean we’re not going to do something loan wise, but certainly no transfers," the boss said.
“I think the pictures changes on a regular basis earlier in the season because the games come think and fast and we’re still looking at the squad.
“Certainly the last few games we looked very good, there’s no need for me to bring anyone in with Kovacs coming back now while Beckwith has come in and done great.
“It’s too rushed (the deadline), just before the game on Saturday and I don’t want to take my eye off it by looking at players. It gives me a lot of pleasure bringing a youth player in to be honest with you.”
