Centre-back Tom Holmes began his career at Reading, playing Under-18s and 21s football in both Premier League 2 and the FA Youth Cup.
He then had a season-long loan during the 2019/20 season to Belgian second-division club KSV Roeselare, making 11 appearances for the West Flanders based outfit.
He returned to Reading, where he made 133 appearances in the Championship and League One before signing for the Hatters in the January of 2024, although he returned to the Royals for the rest of the season.
Tom made his Luton debut as a late substitute at Portsmouth in the second game of this season, helping the Hatters see out a goalless draw at Fratton Park having been reduced to ten men following Thomas Kaminski's first-half dismissal.
