Liam Walsh joined the the Hatters on a free transfer in August 2024 after leaving Championship side Swansea.

Walsh started his career in Everton’s under-18s side in 2015, appearing in several Premier League 2 and FA Youth Cup games before having loan spells at Birmingham and Yeovil Town.

He would leave Everton in 2019 following a term of playing for the under-23s before he went on to join Bristol City where he spent the year before being sent out on loan to Coventry.

In July 2021 he made the move to Swansea where he yet again was loaned out this time to Hull City where he made eight league appearances, six being from the bench.

The midfielder would make seven Championship appearances on his return to the Swans before making a permanent move to the Hatters in August following training with the squad throughout late pre-season, making his debut as a substitute against Preston.
