Teenage striker Tate Xavier-Jones has joined Scottish Championship outfit Airdrieonians on loan until January, subject to international clearance.

The 18-year-old frontman was rewarded for his goalscoring exploits last season with the Under-18s with a professional deal this summer.

He joins the Diamonds ahead of their trip to Arbroath on Saturday.
