Come and watch our high-scoring Under-18s play at Kenilworth Road for the first time this season when they take on Cambridge United on Saturday morning (kick-off 10.30am).
Joe Deeney’s side have scored 27 goals in their last nine fixtures in league and cup and sit second in the Youth Alliance table.
This weekend they face Cambridge in the Youth Alliance Cup, needing to maintain their goalscoring form in order to progress to the next stage of the competition.
After a 3-3 draw with Northampton and a 2-1 defeat to Stevenage in the South East Group 1 stage, the Hatters head to Kenilworth Road to take on a Cambridge side looking to improve their form this season that has seen the U's win just once in league and cup.
And Town fans of all ages are encouraged to get along to the Kenny to witness what will be for a number of the players their first taste of action inside our 119-year-old home.
Entry is pay on the gate at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions with Luton Town season card holders and members able to gain free admission on production of their cards.
Looking ahead to the fixture, lead coach Deeney told lutontown.co.uk: “It’s always special to play at Kenilworth Road and for a lot of our players it’s their first experience and I still remember mine many years ago.
“In reality, it’s another game on their journey and when the whistle blows while the environment is different, the demands and details of how we play are like every other Saturday.
“We expect a tough game against Cambridge and one we need to win to give us a strong chance to progress in the competition.
“The key for me is that we play to our capabilities and that always gives us a chance to win. The ultimate aim for our players is to play at Kenilworth Road in a packed stadium on the next leg of their journey.”
So why not head down to Kenilworth Road and support the new generation of academy players, many of whom have been a part of the Luton Town family since they were eight years old.
