The Hatters have no fresh injury concerns as they head to Blackburn on Saturday with Liam Walsh expected to travel to boost the squad.
The midfielder had been sidelined with a hamstring injury, missing the Town’s last three matches, but manager Rob Edwards explained that the former Swansea man will head to Ewood Park at the weekend.
“The squad is all right following Tuesday and hopefully we’ll have the additional of Liam,” said the manager at his Friday press call.
“He’s recovered relatively quickly but he’s trained today and he’ll be a part of it.”
The boss confirmed that Reuell Walters is back on the grass in the early stages of his rehabilitation, while Amari’i Bell is next in line to return and Alfie Doughty could be back in the squad in early January.
It’s an in-form Rovers who the Hatters face on Saturday aiming to end a run of six away defeats in a row.
“It’ll be a challenge for us but we’ve had two results this week so the message will be ‘let’s make it three’,” said Edwards.
“The last time we played away [at Norwich] we played well but we made mistakes. Hopefully we’ll take the positives from midweek, not make mistakes and stop conceding the cheap goals.”
