Please welcome Michael Amoah and Monika Jude to Luton Town

Manager Matt Bloomfield has spoken of his delight at being able to complete his backroom staff for the 2025/26 season with the addition of Michael Amoah as Head of Physical Performance.

Michael joins from our manager’s former club, Wycombe Wanderers, where the pair worked together alongside assistant manager Richard Thomas, first team coach Lee Harrison and analyst Ben Cirne.

“I’m really pleased to add Michael to our staff,” said Bloomfield, who also had Michael on his staff in his first managerial role at Colchester United. “He’s someone I know well, someone I really trust and he’s elite in his field.

“He’s a real team guy who wants to be a part of what we are building, so we are delighted to have him lead our sports science department as head of physical performance.”

Also joining the staff in a full-time role after originally arriving on a short-term basis towards the end of last season is First Team Physiotherapist Monika Jude.

Monika has previously served as a casual academy physio at Leicester City for two years, before spending seven years with Chelsea’s academy. She has also been employed by the Football Association on England Women’s Talent Pathway since the start of last season.

We can confirm that First Team Analyst Simon Dunn, Club Doctor Dean Chatterjee, Therapist James Bartle and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach Archie Johnson have left Kenilworth Road in recent weeks.

Simon had been with the academy and first team for 11 years and we would like to thank him for his valuable contribution to our success in that period. We wish Simon, Dean, James and Archie all the very best for their future careers.
