Hatters boss Matt Bloomfield told the local media that he will lead an unchanged squad to Burnley for the Sky Bet Championship fixture at Turf Moor tomorrow.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference this lunchtime, the Town manager said there are no fresh injury concerns following last Saturday's 1-0 win at home to Portsmouth, with centre-backs Kal Naismith and Mark McGuinness fit to travel - while he also issued a positive update on Reece Burke, Daiki Hashioka and longer term casualties, Tahith Chong and Teden Mengi.
"I don't think there is any change to last weekend," said Bloomfield. "We've had to be careful with Kal [Naismith], we've had to be careful with Mark [McGuinness], with the little knocks - that's football, isn't it? Mark comes on with a knock and then gets another one straight away, so we've had to be careful with them.
"Burkey is back on the grass with us this week. He's been part of the squad training, which has been fantastic. We are not going to take him up to Burnley because it's two days with the squad - Tuesday and Wednesday he's only been able to train, and today.
"He's going to stay back and have another big day tomorrow. We feel that's the best preparation for him to be available ready to play, because he's got to be able to build up his fitness, but it's been a big boost to have him back available."
On Japan international defender Hashioka, he said: "Hashi's back in training this week. He's back and available. At the time of writing now, he's not in the squad for tomorrow unless anyone falls ill overnight or anything.
"But because he's just come back from his knee, again he'll be back here with Burkey tomorrow working hard and ready to contribute when he’s called upon."
Midfielder Chong is unlikely to make the three games prior to the international break as he recovers from a hamstring injury, but Bloomfield added: "We'll see how this next week goes, but if not we hope he'll be back really soon, post-international break."
And when asked about England Under-21 international Mengi's recovery from knee surgery, he said: "His recovery is going really well. He's on the grass, not with the group, but he's doing his individual work, he's got his boots on, he's running and he's changing direction.
"He's got a smile on his face and I think he can sense that it's getting closer, the end is in sight, which is great for him. He's missed too long of the season for a player of his calibre, and for our football club. But the end is in sight and in the not-too-distant future - not immediate - we are really looking forward to having him back."
The manager added: "He's worked incredibly hard, but you get a mssive boost from being back out on the grass, especially being around the boys as a player.
"Again, we can't rush him, we are going to have to make sure we look after him because he's a huge player for us and a big asset for the football club, so we need to make sure we use him when he's right, but when he's right, he'll be a big player for us."
