Manager Rob Edwards is likely to pick from the same squad that took on QPR before the international break when the Hatters head to Millwall on Saturday (12.30 BST).
The boss explained at his Friday press conference that the confidence and intensity in the past two weeks since the defeat against the Hoops has been high as the Hatters go in search of their first win of the Championship season at The Den.
Edwards will have a near-full-strength squad to choose from for the trip to south London with only Tom Krauß, Daiki Hashioka and Jacob Brown unavailable.
One player that will travel is new signing Victor Moses, who is fit and will be part of the squad at Millwall – but the manager said not to expect anything too soon from the former Wigan and Chelsea man.
“He’s fit, he’s available but we want to integrate him in the right way,” said the boss.
On-loan midfielder Krauß is “chomping at the bit” to be involved, according to Edwards and isn’t far away from being available.
Japanese international Hashioka is making good progress in his recovery from a calf injury sustained on tour in Slovenia in July, and is on the grass but not in full training yet.
Brown, who last featured for the Hatters in the 4-4 draw at Newcastle in early February, has been sidelined with a serious knee injury but the former Stoke forward, while now in training, is not yet ready to feature.
Marvelous Nakamba, who played 45 minutes in the League Cup tie at QPR before being named as a substitute against the Rs in the league fixture, is also progressing well.
“There’s a plan in place to keep him fit for selection through the next weeks and months, even though he can’t train every day,” explained Edwards.
“He gets better with gametime and he proved that when he first joined us.
“Once we have Hashi, Browny and Tom back we will have a strong squad.”
The manager also gave an update on club captain Tom Lockyer with the defender continuing his rehabilitation on the grass at The Brache.
“We don’t want to put too much pressure on Locks, he’s got a plan, and we’ll see how he shapes up in the coming months.
“He wants to come back, we want to support that – and we will – and we want to do that in the right way – but it’s brilliant him having around the training ground and on the grass.”
