Our September show was another sell-out with side-splitting performances from John Ryan, Anil Desai, Dane Baptiste and David Tsonos. As ever, the atmosphere in the Eric was warm and friendly - a perfect way to get the weekend started on a Friday night.

This month we're welcoming four excellent comedians back to Luton on Friday 4th October.

Tickets are on sale now, check out the Specs Comedy website for details.

GERRY KYEI:

Starting in comedy as the result of a dare, Gerry's rise was a quick one, scooping a range of accolades along the way including; The Comedy Store’s ‘King Gong’, Metrolife Comedy Newcomer, and The Comedy Café’s Best Newcomer Awards.

Now a regular and in-demand headline act both in the UK and overseas, Gerry has played all of the nation’s leading clubs including The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, Komedia. He is also a firm favourite on the corporate circuit and for after-dinner speaking engagements.

CRAIG DEELEY

Since beginning his stand-up comedy career in 2003, Craig performed all over the country, including being a semi-finalist in Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition in Edinburgh in 2004.

Anecdotal-observational in style, Craig enjoys pointing out all that is daft in everyday life with a mix of one-liners and stories.

Craig is also a member of comedy improv troupe Foghorn Unscripted.

TONY LAW

Tony Law is no stranger to Specs Comedy, having graced the stage on several occasions. Originally from Alberta, Canada he has been based in London, United Kingdom since the age of 19. He lives in Islington with his family.

Tony is known for his highly surreal material and delivery, and eclectic historical style of dress, favouring boots with turned-up jeans and a Viking/explorer style of hair. Many of his stand-up routines are ad-libbed, and built around various subjects that he has thought of, but not planned a routine about. His routines are often built around fictional and surreal situations.

Compére: Paul T Eyres

Paul T. Eyres began his stand-up comedy career in 2005, and has since performed 100's of gigs around the UK and abroad. Performing at such clubs as Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and London"s Comedy Cafe, his very energetic, highly interactive and yet slightly surreal brand of humour is starting to create a real buzz around the comedy circuit.
