Centre-half Thomas Holmes has joined Rotherham United on a season-long loan.

Holmes joined the Hatters in the winter 2024 transfer window, signing from Reading for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old defender returned to the Royals on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season before getting his chance for the Town last season.

He made his debut for the Hatters in the goalless draw at Portsmouth, before he was given his first start for the club in the 3-0 win over Watford.

Holmes scored his first goal for the Town in the 2-1 win over Derby and made 20 appearances last term before signing on loan for Belgian top-flight side Dender for the remainder of last season.

Good luck at Rotherham, Thomas!
