Good luck to four members of the Hatters squad who head out for international duty this week.
A first-ever call-up for Thelo Aasgaard will see the midfielder join the Norway squad for two important away World Cup qualifiers.
Ståle Solbakken’s side first face Moldova on 22nd March and three days later they take on Israel in a fixture that will take place in Debrecen in Hungary as the Lions aim to qualify for a first World Cup since 1998.
It’s Concacaf Gold Cup preliminary fixtures for Amari’i Bell and Izzy Jones as the pair prepare to clock up the airmiles this week.
Amari’i will be aiming to add to his 21 caps for Jamaica with two games against St Vincent and the Grenadines on 21st and 25th March.
It’s two games against Guatemala for Izzy’s Guyana on the 21st and 25th. The winger has four caps to his name to date for the South American nation.
It will be a busy time for academy graduate Joe Johnson as the youngster joins the England Under-19 squad to face three Euro Under-19 Elite Round fixtures against Wales, Turkey and Portugal on 19th, 22nd and 25th March.
Meanwhile Jacob Brown (Scotland), Daiki Hashioka (Japan), Mark McGuinness (Republic of Ireland), Zack Nelson (England Elite) and Reuell Walters (England Elite) have all been named on standby for call-ups for selection this week.
