Hatters manager Rob Edwards makes one change to his starting XI after Saturday’s brilliant 3-0 win over Watford on Saturday.

Reece Burke, who came off in the second half against the Hornets, is replaced by Japan international Daiki Hashioka.

The 25-year-old makes his first start since the final day of last season when the Town went down 4-2 to Fulham.

Tom Krauß, Tahith Chong and Tom Holmes who also were withdrawn with knocks at the weekend are fit to start against league leaders Sunderland.

Four academy products are on the bench, including 16-year-old Benny Benagr.
