Young Hatters striker Oli Lynch has joined National League side Tamworth on loan until December 31st.
The 20-year-old academy graduate, who netted twice in the Town Under-21s' recent friendly win at Millwall, has already joined up with the Lambs and played as a trialist against Aston Villa U21s last night, scoring the third goal in a 3-0 win.
Oli put pen to paper on a new contract with the Hatters in April after being recalled from his profitable loan spell at Hemel Hempstead Town, where he had netted 11 times in 18 appearances after joining the National League South side at the turn of the year.
After an earlier loan spell at Isthmian Premier club Dulwich Hamlet in the first half of last season, he enjoyed a prolific spell at Vauxhall Road where he was voted the Tudors’ player of the month in January, as well as winning goal of the month awards in January and March.
The Hatters fan, who joined us as an Under-14, has also gained experience on loan in the Southern League Premier Central with Hitchin Town, and everyone at Kenilworth Road wishes him the best for this next stage of his development.
