Mick and Clicker surprise students at Christmas clash!

Hatters duo take charge of Students v Staff match

Hatters legend Mick Harford and midfielder Jordan Clark brought festive cheer to Redborne Upper School in Ampthill yesterday when they went head-to-head on the touchline in a Christmas coaching clash!

Mick and Jordan attended the after-school football session for SEND pupils and took charge of the teams in the Students v Staff festive match.

After an end-to-end 2-2 draw, Mick’s youngsters taught Clicker’s teachers a lesson in how to take penalties, winning a shoot-out 3-2 to lift the trophy.

The Town duo handed out replica Luton shirts for the youngsters to wear in the game, organised by Kenilworth Road season ticket holder Kasey Wilding.

Kasey teaches at the school and acts as carer to James Forrester (pictured below), who many regulars will recognise from his role on our matchday catering team, which he carries out at every home game before cheering his heroes on from the Main Stand Enclosure.

The Sky Sports and BBC Look East cameras were present, so look out for the features – or schedule to record – on their respective channels ahead of tomorrow night’s game against Derby County.
