Mark McGuinness’ fine performances in January led to the centre-half being named by our diamond season card holders as their player of the month.

The defender received the highest amount of votes in the poll after scoring twice in January in the games at QPR and Oxford.

Mark was presented with his trophy after Wednesday’s draw with Plymouth by diamond season card holder Nicholas Rhodes.
