Rob Edwards’ side will be aiming to get back to winning ways and reach the quarter finals for the first time since 1994.
Pep Guardiola’s City have not lost since December as they try to claim their third Emirates FA Cup trophy under the Spaniard.
The opposition
City have been better travellers this season than their treble-winning campaign last term, they have already won more away games than they did during the entirety of last season.
The champions have kept the ball out of their net too, they are yet to concede in the Emirates FA Cup and have earned eight clean sheets in the Premier League.
Phil Foden has scored 16 goals for City in all competitions this season, that is the most he has scored in a single campaign since 2021.
This is our first FA Cup fixture against City since a third round defeat at Maine Road in January 1969.
Last time out
Luton’s perfect first half performance at Anfield evaporated after a dominant turnaround from leaders Liverpool last Wednesday.
Chieo Ogbene gave us an early lead before the Reds came back after half-time with goals from Virgil Van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott.
Last time we met
A quick double from the treble winners was the difference when we met City at Kenilworth Road back in December.
Elijah Adebayo headed us into the lead on the stroke of half-time before Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish fired the champions to three points.
Team news
Wing-backs Alfie Doughty and Daiki Hashioka are both available for selection on Tuesday night.
Doughty came off injured in our defeat at Liverpool, while Hashioka has been adjusting since his arrival to the club last month.
Issa Kaboré is ineligible to play his parent club, while Sambi Lokonga’s injury at Anfield will rule him out for this fixture.
Elijah Adebayo will also be unavailable, while Jacob Brown, Mads Andersen, Marvelous Nakamba and Tom Lockyer are all absent.
Officials
The referee for our fixture against Man City will be Anthony Taylor.
148 yellow cards and six red cards have been handed out by Taylor across his 32 games this season.
We last had a game ran by Taylor when we fell to defeat at Brentford in the Premier League back in December.
Referee: Anthony Taylor
Assistant Referees: Marc Perry & Shaun Hudson

LOVE FOOTBALL. PROTECT THE GAME.
Luton Town Football Club has committed in its customer charter to providing safe match-day experiences for all supporters regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation, and this applies equally to home and away fixtures.
In the event that any Luton supporters do make discriminatory chants, the Club will work with the police and football authorities to help identify such individuals. Any such fans would then face the strictest club sanctions, including football banning orders that would prevent them attending any matches, in addition to any criminal charges.
Any abusive, offensive, homophobic and discriminatory chanting and/or gesturing will likely lead to the club receiving a fine, unsavoury media attention to the Club and, if identified, will potentially result in you losing your place at Kenilworth Road. Furthermore, tragedy chanting or gesturing is an arrestable offence. The CPS updated its prosecution guidance on football related offences which reconfirmed in August last year that such related abuse can be prosecuted as a public order offence.
The Club can also be held responsible for the behaviour of its supporters, which could lead to substantial fines being imposed.
As a diverse and inclusive football club, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our fellow Premier League clubs in supporting the FA’s ‘Love Football. Protect the Game’ campaign and call on all fans to enjoy the game in a positive spirit.
If you are offended by any discriminatory abuse of any kind at any of our games, you can report it by clicking here, or by contacting your nearest steward immediately. Alternatively, email [email protected] or report the incident via Kick it Out's free, confidential reporting app on the App Store and Google Play.
Fan information
We would like to remind supporters to arrive at the game as early as possible to ease congestion around the stadium, at the Ticket Office and the turnstiles.
There will be additional road closures around Kenilworth Road on home matchdays.
A message from Luton Community Fire Station
Please park considerately when attending football matches at Kenilworth Road. Fire crews have been struggling recently to get around irresponsibly parked vehicles on Studley Road when attending fire calls, which has caused concerns and unnecessary restrictions over recent weeks.
Don’t park on yellow lines, these are used where street parking makes the road too narrow or blocks visibility for drivers. Parking on corners could mean that an emergency vehicle travelling on blue lights cannot see oncoming traffic round the corner.
If you park without considering passing emergency vehicles, you could prevent a life from being saved.
