Who?

High-flying Bournemouth were relegated from the Premier League last season after five successive seasons in the top flight.

Similarly to the Hatters, the Cherries enjoyed a meteoric rise through the divisions, starting 2010 in League Two and five years later were in the Premier League.

The Manager – Jason Tindall

Jason Tindall took over duties following Eddie Howe’s departure after last season and has carried on the good work with this Bournemouth team.

Tindall, who was assistant to Howe as the club progressed through the divisions, and his team currently occupy third place in the league.

Main Threat – David Brooks

After a long spell on the sideline last season and early this campaign too, David Brooks has been in sensational form as of late, providing three goals and five assists.

The Wales international is extremely creative and a highly regarded youngster who burst onto the scene with Sheffield United, before switching to the South Coast.

When and where?

Kick-off is 3pm at Vitality Stadium on Saturday 16 January.

Man in the middle?

The referee for Saturday’s contest is David Webb – who recently took charge of the Hatters’ 1-1 draw with Birmingham City. He has officiated 19 games in total this season, dishing out 49 yellows and three red cards in the process.

Played before?

The two sides met prior to Christmas and produced an end-to-end 0-0 draw at Kenilworth Road.

The Hatters will be keen to nullify the Cherries once again as Nathan Jones’ side aim to make amends for the midweek defeat to Queens Park Rangers.

Away games on a Saturday are not available free to season ticket holders this season, but we hope as many supporters as possible will get behind the lads from home with a £10 match pass which are on sale now.

All of the money from every match pass sold comes directly back to the Club and is a valuable source of revenue as matches continue with limited crowds permitted to home matches. We are very grateful for your support by watching on iFollow when you are unable to attend matches in person.
