Hatters defender Christ Makosso has agreed to join Sky Bet Championship club Oxford United on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old Congo international signed for the Hatters in the winter transfer window last season from Belgian second tier club RWD Molenbeek and appeared 13 times in the Championship.

This term he has made 11 League One appearances and four in the Vertu Trophy, and he joins up with his former Town manager Matt Bloomfield as the Kassam Stadium club bid to climb out of the relegation zone.
