Luton Town Football Club can confirm our retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Leaving Kenilworth Road at the end of their contracts are midfielder Zack Nelson, winger Cohen Bramall and forward Jacob Brown.
Zack progressed through the academy ranks after joining as an Under-15, and made his senior debut as a late substitute in the Premier League draw at Crystal Palace in March 2024. The now 21-year-old went on to make 51 appearances, scoring three times, before spending the second half of this season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.
Cohen departs having made 35 appearances, also scoring three times, in his only season as a Hatter, while Jacob joined in the summer of 2023 and scored the winning goal in our opening home victory in the top-flight against Palace, before going on to net seven times in 60 matches.
Ali Al-Hamadi, Nigel Lonwijk, Emilio Lawrence, Kasey Palmer and Davy van den Berg return to their parent clubs at the end of their loans.
We thank all departing players immensely for their service during their time with the Club and wish them every success for the future.
Contract discussions remain ongoing with midfielders Jordan Clark and Liam Walsh with a view to extending their careers in Bedfordshire, as well as striker Elijah Adebayo who is continuing his rehabilitation from surgery during the close season at The Brache.
All other senior professionals remain under contract for the 2026/27 season, with discussions already taking place with various players regarding their future and moves away from the Club.
