Loan Watch | Josh Neufville scores first EFL goal!

Josh Neufville scored his first football league goal at the weekend as Sutton United earned a 2-1 win over Mansfield Town!

The forward gave Sutton the lead just before half-time with a well-taken individual goal, knocking the ball past the Mansfield defence and finding the bottom corner with precision.

Neufville's afternoon lasted 80 minutes as the U's earned their second league win of the season which helped them move up to 13th place in the table.

Elsewhere in League Two, Aribim Pepple registered his first assist in English football as he set-up Harry Clifton as the Mariners came from behind to beat Walsall.

The Canadian forward had a major impact on the game just 12 minutes after coming off the bench, picking out Clifton with a superb cross from the right-hand-side.

Carlos Mendes Gomes returned from injury and was a second-half substitute for Fleetwood as scored in added time to draw 2-2 against Lincoln City.

The Cods have now drawn their last four league matches in succession and face Barrow in the EFL Trophy tomorrow night before a league match against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
