Another week passes so that means it is time to check in on how those boys in the first team and the academy are doing out on loan

Jerry Yates scored in three successive games for an already relegated Sheffield Wednesday most recently against Derby and Watford.

It was a good week for Jacob Brown as he registered his first goal and assist for Portsmouth with the assist coming against fellow Championship strugglers Blackburn and the goal coming at home against Swansea. Millenic Alli started both those games and completed a full 90 against Blackburn.

Zack Nelson scored his first goal as an AFC Wimbledon player as he came off the bench to net against Blackpool after also featuring as a substitute in the 1-0 victory over Northampton.

Lasse Nordas notched his first assist for Heerenveen as the European chasers in the Eredivisie beat a struggling Excelsior side 2-1.

Cauley Woodrow scored his sixth league goal of the season to put Wycombe 1-0 up against a promotion chasing Bolton before the Trotters turned it around to beat the Chairboys 3-2.

Ethon Archer once again was part of a Port Vale side that provided a giant killing in the FA Cup as this time the Valiants knocked out Premier League Sunderland. However, Port Vale’s magic in the cup could not be replicated in the league as play off contenders Bradford got the better of League One’s basement club with Archer playing the second half of this encounter.

Reuell Walters has continued to complete full matches for Blackpool as in the last week the Seasiders have drawn with Wigan and have lost to AFC Wimbledon.

In terms of the academy boys, Jack Lorentzen-Jones registered two substitute appearances for Hemel Hempstead as the Tudors won 3-2 in back-to-back games against Farnborough and Chippenham Town. Also in the Chippenham game, Lorentzen-Jones’ Luton U21 teammate Dylan Stitt made his Hemel debut and was involved in the winning goal as his bobbled effort was pounced upon by former Hatter Jake Gray.

Like Lorentzen-Jones, Josh Phillips also made two appearances off the bench this time for Bedford. However, the Eagles drew 0-0 with Spennymoor before suffering a 2-0 defeat at home to Worksop Town.

After his brace against Boreham Wood last week, Oli Lynch got 90 and 81minutes respectively as Tamworth fell to defeat to both Woking and Wealdstone.

Tate Xavier-Jones started successive games for Merthyr in the Welsh side’s triumph away at Radcliffe before a defeat at home to Chester.

After a debut clean sheet for Gosport Borough, Lucas Thomas suffered his first defeat as a Gosport player as they lost 2-1 to Sholing.
