Loan Round-Up | The latest on Peter Kioso's move to Northampton and Josh Neufville continues to thrive

As the Football League season heads into the final few months, catch-up with how our Hatters out on loan have been getting on across the English football pyramid with their respective clubs.

Peter Kioso – Northampton Town

After a bright loan spell with Bolton Wanderers, Peter Kioso was assessed by manager Nathan Jones during the month of January and later moved to Northampton Town, in order to experience regular game-time at a higher level.

Since joining the Cobblers he has made 15 appearances, playing every single minute which started as a right-midfielder under Keith Curle. For the duration that Jon Brady has been in caretaker charge of the club, the 21-year-old has played in his usual right-back position, where he has contributed towards seven clean-sheets and a goal against Milton Keynes.

Elliot Lee - Oxford United

Following 12 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship – of which eight were starts – Elliot Lee joined Oxford on Deadline Day in January and made an impression from the off.

Lee scored on his second appearance for the club and followed it up 97th minute equaliser against Milton Keynes three matches later.

He hasn’t been involved in their last two matches but will hope to have an impact on their run-in as they plot a late run for the play-off places.

Gabriel Osho – Rochdale

Osho impressed on debut for the Hatters against his former team Reading in the FA Cup and then joined Rochdale a matter of weeks later to get regular minutes under his belt.

The Dale have been struggling for form at the bottom of League One but the 22-year-old has played in their last two matches, helping the team to pick up four points against Lincoln City and Peterborough United respectively.

His versatility has also been demonstrated at the Spotland Stadium, having been used as a right-back as well as centre-back, the latter where he featured for the Hatters in his one competitive game for the club thus far.

Josh Neufville – Yeovil Town

Since extending his loan spell until the end of the season, Josh Neufville has continued to impress with Yeovil Town and now has four goals to his name since moving to Huish Park.

Similarly to both Kioso and Osho too, the 20-year-old has adopted a number of different positions on the pitch but more recently he seems to have settled as a right-winger.

Yeovil are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they welcome Barnet, a match Neufville will once again hope to feature in.

Harry Isted – Wealdstone FC

After playing an integral part in Wealdstone’s title-winning campaign last season, Harry Isted returned to the club this term as well, where he has since made 21 appearances from October onwards.

The 24-year-old has kept four clean-sheets for the 19th-place Stones and will likely be between the sticks on Tuesday night when they travel to face Solihull Moors.
