Midfielder Lamine Fanne has completed a permanent transfer to Italian Serie B club Venezia.

The 22-year-old signed for the Hatters from Swedish top-flight outfit AIK in the summer of 2024, but completed the Allsvenskan season with the Stockholm club before arriving in Bedfordshire last January.

He played 13 times in the 2024/25 campaign without scoring, and another 27 this season to take his appearance total in a Luton shirt to 40, with his two Town goals coming in successive games against Northampton and Forest Green.
