After a three-week break over the Christmas period our Ladies return to action when they host Cambridge United at Barton.

Sunday’s match at Sharpenhoe Road will be their first at home since a narrow 1-0 defeat to London Bees at the beginning of November.

Defeat on home soil has been a rarity for the Town with the loss to London Bees being one of just two league defeats at Barton since March 2023.

The opposition

First up in 2026 is Sean Greygoose’s Cambridge United who are seventh in the WNL Division One South East table.

In the reverse fixture back in August it was an afternoon to forget for the Hatters who were defeated 5-0 after being reduced to 10 players after five minutes played.

Cambridge began their season in fine form, winning five of their first seven across all competitions but they struggled towards the back end of 2025, failing to win any of their final six matches of the year.

A 3-1 victory away at bottom side Chesham United in September was the last time Sunday’s visitors picked up three points in the league.

Back the Town at Barton

For any Hatters fans not making the trip to South Yorkshire on Sunday, we would love to see you all at Barton.

Kick-off at Sharpenhoe Road ground is at 2pm, with tickets available on the day. Payment is via cash only at the turnstiles, priced at for £5 adults and just £1 for children.
