The Hatters will be looking to continue their magnificent league form this Sunday when they take on Wroxham Women at Barton.

Last Sunday’s 3-2 win over Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers saw the Town secure their 12th successive victory in the ERWFL Premier Division.

Another incredible record that the Hatters will look to keep up is their undefeated streak in the league at Barton. The Hatters have not lost a league game at Sharpenhoe Road since 12th March 2023, over 740 days ago.

The opposition

The Norfolk side currently sit fifth in the table and have won four of their previous five games in the league.

Wroxham have proven hard to beat this season, losing just four of their 16 league games so far this campaign with the Yachtswomen losing just twice on the road.

The fixture will be the second attempt to play the game which was abandoned back in September. The game featured a Hatters debut for defender Bridget Adu. But while the Town took a 1-0 lead into half-time, the game was called off around the hour mark due to adverse weather conditions.

Last time out

The last meeting between the two sides saw the Hatters win 2-0 away from home in what was Myles Maddix and Fadi Mazloum’s first game in charge.

An own goal from the hosts in the first half and a cooly taken Leyah Maddix finish in the second rounded off a successful afternoon for the Town.
