Luton Town can confirm that a permanent transfer has been finalised for striker Joe Taylor to join Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee.

Joe arrived at Kenilworth Road from Peterborough United on transfer deadline day in January 2023 and went on to make six appearances that season, including in the Championship play-off final.

The 22-year-old scored late in extra-time before VAR overruled, then converted a crucial penalty in the shootout victory over Coventry.

A successful 2023/24 season away from Bedfordshire saw the striker have two loans, enjoying spells with Colchester United in League Two and Lincoln City in League One.

On his return to Kenilworth Road this season, Joe has appeared in 13 of our 26 Championship fixtures.
