Academy stalwart Fin Evans has received a call-up to the Wales U17’s to represent the side in the EUAFA tournament

Evans, who’s played at the senior level in the Vertu Trophy this season, became our youngest scorer at 16 years and 271 days when he scored the final goal of the game in the 3-1 victory over Brighton U21s at Kenilworth Road.

The young defender has regularly featured for Joe Deeney and Alex Lawless’ sides across their respective age-groups and will be looking to impress yet again when he joins up with Chris Gunter’s side on the international stage.

Wales will play against Andorra, San Marino and Georgia in the tournament group stage.
