Luton Town return to the road in the Sky Bet Championship as we travel to the Welsh capital to face Cardiff City (Tuesday, 7.45pm UK).
Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters will be wanting to bounce back after the defeat at Burnley on Saturday and decrease the gap to survival.
Omer Riza’s Bluebirds have not won in their last three games but have only lost one home match in 2025.
The opposition
Cardiff made a bright start to 2025, starting the new year with an unbeaten run of eight games in all competitions.
The good form came to a halt when league leaders Leeds put seven past the Bluebirds at Elland Road, but they have stayed strong on home soil.
Their loss against Burnley last week was their first defeat at Cardiff City Stadium in 2025, with the derby day thrashing of Swansea City being the highlight of the run.
The top scorer this season for Tuesday’s hosts is Callum Robinson (pictured), whose goal against Hull City at the end of February took his tally to 12 goals this term.
Last time we met
Luton took all three points when Cardiff visited Kenilworth Road in November.
Jacob Brown’s second half header was the difference between the two sides, lifting the Hatters out of the relegation zone.
Previously at Cardiff City Stadium
We completed back-to-back wins in Wales when we last visited Cardiff back in August 2022.
Luke Freeman and Gabe Osho got the goals to secure the victory, backing up our win at Swansea City earlier that month.
