Luton Town will kick off the 2025/26 Sky Bet League One campaign with a home game against recently-promoted AFC Wimbledon.
Matt Bloomfield's squad's opening fixture sees us welcome the Dons to Kenilworth Road on Friday 1st August for the EFL's season curtain-raiser live on Sky Sports Football, with an 8pm kick-off under the lights.
The south-west Londoners, League Two play-off winners a month ago when they beat Walsall at Wembley, were one of the last third-tier visitors to Bedfordshire six years ago in the final fortnight of our title-winning campaign.
Mick Harford’s side’s crowning moment was delayed until Oxford came to town on the final day of the 2018/19 season as Wimbledon – with future England keeper Aaron Ramsdale having an inspired night – held us to a 2-2 draw after Elliot Lee and James Collins netted first-half goals.

The festive programme sees the Hatters at home on Boxing Day and Monday 29th December, against the manager's former club Wycombe Wanderers and Leyton Orient, before spending New Year in Devon with a visit to Exeter City.
