Jordan Clark was the big winner at the Luton Town Supporters’ Trust awards night, scooping four trophies.
The 31-year-old’s performances this season in the heart of the Hatters’ midfield have not gone unnoticed by fans or his teammates, as he picked up the big double of the player of the year and players’ player awards.
His stunning equaliser at Cardiff in March also earned him the goal of the season prize. Clicker also proved a hit with the Trust’s younger fans, as he was named the junior supporters’ player of season.
Other winners on the night included goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski, who won the Ian Pearce Memorial Trophy – the prize given to the player who received the most man-of-the-match awards in the Luton News. Thomas also won the Bobbers Travel Club away player of the season.
Sadly Thomas was not able to collect the awards in person, as he had returned home to Belgium to be with his family following the death of his father, Jacek. The love and thoughts of all present on the night - and everyone at the club - are with Thomas and his family at this difficult time.
Another player who picked up two awards on the night was Christ Makosso. The 20-year-old, who arrived from RWD Molenbeek in January, was named the SoLYD young player of the season.
And the defender’s impact on the first team saw him recognised as the Trust’s signing of the season.
Finally, outgoing Trust chair Tony Murray was honoured as he received the Trust’s outstanding contribution award, the Kevin Catlin Memorial Trophy, for his work that had seen him dedicate 20 years of service to the Trust.
