“The reaction has been amazing, and I’m really grateful to everyone who has donated so far! I didn’t expect to hit my original target in under a week, so it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. Obviously I’m keen to raise as much as I can for Signposts, so I’ve decided to increase my target to £750. There’s still a week and a half to go before my jump, and my anxiety is calmed by the fact that I can see I have so many people generously supporting me and Signposts!”, said Sophie.

Phyl Rainey, Head of Community, Partnerships and Innovation at Signposts said: “The partnership with Luton Town has only just begun, so it’s amazing to see members of the Hatters staff getting behind us and fundraising already. I think Sophie is incredibly brave to take part in the skydive, and I’m sure Luton Town supporters will get behind her efforts to raise money for Signposts.

“All of the money raised by the Club this year will go directly towards helping people Homeless people in Luton and Dunstable. For over 30 years, we have provided residential and supporting services to anyone who is unable to find suitable accommodation to meet their needs. Our aim is to help clients achieve their maximum potential to live and develop in the community, so Sophie’s help, and the partnership with Luton Town will be incredibly valuable to us.”
